Overview
Cracks in the asphalt surface allow water to get into the crack and erode the foundation. This can create depressions or decay the area of asphalt very quickly. Asphalt driveway cracks also allow water to penetrate the cracks during the cooler months of the year, the water then freezes and turns to ice and creates an expansion effect which increases the size of the crack and expedites the decay process.
The Elasta-Fill driveway crack filler is used to fill asphalt driveway cracks and prevent erosion, larger and more asphalt cracking.
This cold pour asphalt crack fill is used in cracks that are a half inch or less.
People who have very large driveways or commercial parking lots should really use hot pour crack filler with the AK10 crack repair machine.
